Olympic Games, Paris 2024 đŸ’„đŸ‡«đŸ‡·

Sooo
How do you begin to write about something that still gives you goosebumps?

Maybe with this:More than 10,000 athletes. 200 nations. One city. And somehow—I was there. With my kit, my brushes, my coffee
and the biggest smile on my face.

I got to be part of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 as a makeup artist. Not on the field, not in the spotlight—But right behind it.Behind the camera, behind the emotion, behind the moments you maybe watched from home.

And honestly? It was one of the greatest honors of my life.

What it felt like

There’s something indescribable about standing backstage while history is being made. While someone adjusts their earpiece, takes a breath, and walks into the frame. While you quietly fix a shiny nose or calm shaking hands with a soft touch and a smile.

I watched as athletes gave everything.I listened as commentators tried to find words for things that go beyond language. And I got to help some of them feel like their most confident selves before they did.

The makeup chair can be such a sacred space.Even at the Olympics.Maybe especially at the Olympics.

What I learned

That energy is contagious. That it matters to stay grounded—even in a city buzzing with celebration, champagne, sirens and stories. That what we do, even if it's just a few brush strokes, can help someone feel ready to show up.

There were no divas. No egos. Just humans. All doing what we love. All giving our best. All sharing something unforgettable.

What I’ll never forget

The early mornings. The team spirit. The sound of applause through studio walls. The view of the Eiffel Tower on my walk home. The warmth. The chaos. The gratitude.

And how proud I was—not just of the work I did, but of the why behind it.This wasn’t just a gig. This was a reminder:I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Thank you, Paris. And thank you to everyone I met, worked with, laughed with, learned from. The Olympic Games 2024 will forever live in my heart as one of the biggest chapters in my journey.

More to come.More to share. And yes
that reel? It’s on its way. 😘
